review...
More previously unreleased archives by the now legendary Berlin Krautrock trio GAM. The exact location and dates of these sessions are lost to history, but at least the recordings weren't. Günter first shared these sessions as a cassette back in the 1980s. A mite compressed and hissy (a copy of a copy) they were obviously great stuff, but not really of the quality one could release. Decades later, when we met Günter a second time he supplied us with new better quality CDR copies. Those I went on to edit and remaster as what is found on this release, a huge slab of creativity upon invention upon... it all goes through so many diverse phases it sure to surprise and delight all fans of freaky Krautrock, with the accent on jamming and free-rock improvisation, and they even manage to throw some songs in - well, kind of!
A minor quality note - the beginning of "Interlude" does have some atmospheric amplifier buzz and hiss that I couldn't get rid of without ruining the sound, so it is not a fault - and do not adjust your stereo, except maybe crank it up a notch!
