AMA: part of Rancid Poultry along with a drummer, were more of a throwback to the late 60s/early 70s being basically a space-rock freak-out for guitar, bass and drums, all performed live as you hear it. Pure inventive "hot" rock - a blast from the heyday of Guru Guru, Ash Ra Tempel, et al, yet totally instrumental, with chunky growling bass, thrashing drums, guitar lines that numb the senses. With the later GENUFLEX, as AMA II, and a new member: one Alan Dawson, they had a new concept: all basses (no lead guitar) and unleashed what was their craziest and heaviest release ever.
